100-Year-Old Underground Bowling Alley Reopens Downtown

If you’ve ever walked down the sidewalk on East Broad Street past The Athletic Club of Columbus, then you’ve stood on top of a bowling alley. The five-lane facility was constructed in the basement of the clubhouse back in 1915, and after an 18-month closure for renovations, is ready to reopen again to members of The ACC and their guests.

Underground, Above Ground?!? You see bowling lanes in just about every place you turn to. Whether it be in the White House or in the basement of someone's home.

Bowling always seems to catch the eye and will continue to fascinate us in every spectacle. Although some lanes like the Athletic need a little re-vamping from time to time. Where will the next set of lane's be installed? The Moon?!?
