CORE - The Jack core was designed as a low RG symmetric core with a high differential. The low RG engages in the mid-lane assisting in ball motion, and the high differential increases track flare potential giving the ball more opportunity to grip the backend while using standard layouts.
BALL MOTION - The Jack™ core was designed as a low RG symmetric core with a high differential. The low RG engages in the mid-lane assisting in ball motion, and the high differential increases track flare potential giving the ball more opportunity to grip the backend while using standard layouts.
REACTION SETUP - The Lethal Revolver can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for symmetric bowling balls.
LIGHTWEIGHT ENGINEERING - At Brunswick, the unique core shape of each individual ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. At 12 and 13 pounds, Brunswick uses a generic core shape with a RG-differential that is close enough to the 14 to 16 pound shape so the same drilling instructions can be used.

THE go-to ball for a smooth look in oil By Jared Wolf from Jonesboro, AR
Reviewed on: 8/21/2011
Verified Reviewer Pros:Continuous backend, Midlane traction, Great carry, Gets through the heads Cons:Does need oil Best Uses:Med-heavy patterns, Longer patterns, Smoothing breakpoint Describe Yourself:Pro Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Brunswick Lethal Revolver Bowler Stats: Speed: 18-18.5 mph Rev Rate: 425-450rpm Tilt: 12 degrees Rotation: 30-55 degrees Layout: 50* by 4.5" by 70" Lanes: Brunswick Pro-Anvilane 39ft THS (19.6 mL) Initial thoughts: I loved my original Revolver when I needed to play straighter angles on longer or more voluminous patterns. It was my best bet for being able to stay right but still traction and read the midlane. I shorted up the layout on my original by .5" for the lethal because I really wanted this ball to be on the strong end of my arsenal along with the Alpha Max, but with a stronger midlane and a more arcing shape. On the lanes: This ball does a fantastic job of rolling through the mids while still having plenty of energy to make an equally strong move off of the breakpoint and finish through the pins with authority. With my rev rate and speed, my lower to medium volume THS wasn't quite enough of a puddle to use this ball for a long time. Doesn't mean I couldn't make it work, but I'm just saying that there would have been better options. I could still pick up my speed and play around 4th arrow or I could move in front of the ball return and throw a big swing out to the dry. Each worked just fine but I could tell it still wanted more oil throughout the heads and the midlane. Just because this ball rolls (with its 2000 grit cover and super low RG core) doesn't mean it doesn't corner off of the back of the pattern. Even with the duller cover, the low RG core, and my layout placing the pin under my ring finger, this ball still reads the breakpoint hard. Comparing the Lethal with the original, I'd say I had them at about the same overall hook but with more backend than the Original. However, the drill pattern for the original was slightly weaker so I'd imagine the Lethal is about 1-2 boards weaker overall than the original with the same layout. That being said, I feel like the Lethal will be slightly stronger in the backend. Final observations: This ball is exactly what I've been looking for when it comes to giving me a nice hard roll all the way through the midlane while still providing more than enough pop on the backend. As a friend would say, it gives you "THAT BIG BEND, BABY"! The combination of the super low RG core and the 2000 grit cover out of the box gives you a really strong motion throughout the whole lane. If you are having trouble getting a read of the midlane on longer or more voluminous patterns, this is the ball you seriously need in your hands. I could also see this being a great ball to start with in Baton Rouge if the lanes play similarly to the way they have the past 3 years. Not to mention a great deal with the rebate! Good luck and good bowling! Thanks for reading. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
