Bottom Line:
The Revolver is VERY STRONG and I found a hard time finding a place to throw it with the out-of-box surface because I haven't seen enough oil in the short time I have had it. So I decided to throw a bit of polish on it and found that it still picks up early, but continues its ball motion a little better without expending too much energy. The ball is drilled pin down at 5 1/4 from PAP, and the cg at 4 3/4 from pap. It definitely will work, without a doubt, on either heavier or longer patterns. So I'm very anxious to get on something where I can use it to its full potential! But with the polish on it, it will definitely continue on a house shot more than other balls that are out right now within the Revolver's hook range.

ive never really been one to throw brunswick equipment, but after getting and throwing the revolver i can honestly say it is one o the best balls i have ever thrown, and ive had a pretty good arsenal to choose from. since throwing the revolver from the first time im averaging about a 213 with it. great job guys!

I had this ball drilled with the pin just to the right of the ring finger. What I observed (on 2 different house shots) was the exact same thing. It hooks as soon as it hits the lane (on fresh) and does absolutely nothing when it gets to the back part of the lane.
I have a 220 composite average on 5 different leagues in 5 different houses and I can honestly say from experience that this ball will not work for any of those patterns. This ball is a total letdown compared to the previous Brunswick Equipment I have bought in the past (Smashzone, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 all of which I like)
I'm going to polish the ball and see if that helps. If not i'm moving the pin directly over my middle finger. If that doesn't work I guess i'll switch to another brand from now on.

Pros:Roll, Coverstock versatility
Cons:Oil soaker
Best Uses:Heavy Oil
Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
the brunswick revolver is one amazing ball, I am in love with how it rolls...had my 4" pin 16 pounder drilled up with pin under and cg kicked way out...resurfaced coverstock to 1000 grit, I am somewhat low on revs and this baby cuts right thru the heaviest flooded oil playing inside on 17/18 board, swinging out to breakpoint around 8/9 board...ball is so smooth rolling and has perfect sweeping arc with this setup, right dead in the pocket...this ball is soft and will soak oil like a mother so be prepared, the revolver was totally different with OOB finish of 500 then 4000 grit, went long and snapped hard on backend, I much prefer the 1000 grit finish

I won this ball in a raffle, and I am a true blue Hammer fan. When I had this ball drilled, I thought that it would be a dud. Imagine my astonishment at finding out this ball hooks HARD! There is only one ball in my arsenal that is near this ball for performance and that is my Jigsaw Corner. This Brunswick ball is fantastic and I just may have to re-evaluate my thinking on Brunswick balls, since one of my top performers is a Brunswick Revolver.
