Great starter ball. By BMCOA from Burlington, VT
Reviewed on: 3/29/2011
Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I bowled for a many number of years and then quit 10 years ago. Just getting back into it and I wanted a ball that had some hook to it that was affordable. I looked at lots of different balls along the way and decided on this one. I used to have a dull resin ball that I could play on the one/two board standing all the way to the left and bring it back to the pocket great. Tried it with this ball and found out the hard way that it does not have that type of reaction. I have since straightened up my line to the two/three arrow standing on the last dot on the left. It really does have good backend reactions but be careful, if I miss the mark to the right at all it slides hard and will not break back. And if you go left of mark I have missed Broklyn because of the back kick. I will give it this much my first week average was 165 learing how to throw it, I got it the night I bowled for the first time, and then ended up with a 195 for an eight week league with a 679 high series. I would recomend this for someone that has just started and would like to practice with a ball that hooks. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Really Nice Ball! By OLD GUY! from Louisville Ky
Reviewed on: 5/3/2011
Verified Buyer Pros:Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip, Great Weight, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:Casual Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This ball is awesome! It goes where you aim it and knocks pins down, Very predictable and with a small amount of effort it curves nicely, I don't care for the hook and curves built into the ball, Some do but not me, This is a great choice for the average weekend bowler, I liked it so much I bought one for my wife after my first time using it. Bought this ball, by the end of the fall league my average was 140, most improved average. We also won the League Champion ship. Unverified Pros:Attractive Design, Good ball for the price Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I have bought this ball for summer league and drilled it with a 5/4 drilling. I throw with alot of revs on the ball and this drilling gives me the length that I need to the pocket. This is my go to ball now. Was this review helpful to you? great ball By matt from Hickroy, NC
Reviewed on: 12/9/2010
Unverified Pros:Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip Best Uses:Bowling league Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I use this in my bowling league and its pretty good. This is a great ball and i would recommend it for anyone whos is just starting bowl and wants to learn how to hook. I have it drilled with the pap right under my ring finger and it hooks alot on dry to medium oily lanes. on heavily oily lanes you would think its a house ball, I definitely would not reccomend this as anything other than a begginer ball. My average only went up about twenty points but i didnt get it drilled very aggresively because i plan to use as a spare ball after i get a storm prodigy . If your just getting in to bowling and want a ball thats decent this is a good ball to get. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
