- Description: The Ransom Demand once again will give you high performance characteristics at the upper mid performance category. For the Ransom Demand we went back to the original Full Swing core that was found in very successful Columbia 300 products like the Pure Physics and Full Swing. In order to come up with the best performing product possible we tested this core against the Full Swing v2 core that was in original Ransom and found that this core gave us more options and performed at a higher level. We are using the second generation of our Super Tilt Solid coverstock, it is called Tilt Solid 2.0. This new is extremely versatile and due to its aggressive nature performed extremely well when mid-lane control and a smooth continuous backend reaction is needed. In order to choose a ball that fit Columbia 300’s performance standards we did extensive testing. Two versions of the Full Swing core along with six different coverstock options and three different colors schemes were tested in order to come up with the Ransom Demand. Due to the highly competitive market at this performance level we took our time and tested until we found the exact core, coverstock, color and finishing process that delivered the highest level of performance. This is the type of ball that bowlers of all skill levels will excel with due to its versatility and high level of performance. The Ransom Demand will have a bright green sticker placed directly below the logo. This sticker states that Columbia 300 is giving a portion of the proceeds of this product to four different bowling related charities; Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF), Bowl for the Cure, Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL) and The Bowling Hall of Fame. Columbia 300 is the perfect brand to partner with these bowling charities and their causes and we look forward to launching more and more campaigns that help give back to the great sport of bowling. We are in the process of setting up columbia300.com/give so we can explain this promotion in greater detail and find out which charity the consumers would like their money donated to.

Impressive By RC from Florence, KY

Verified Reviewer Pros:Strong Backend, Smooth break point Cons:None Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I'm med speed/med rev bowler. First time out of box shot 204/217/188. Unfortunately I yanked about 8-10 shots on the night but as long as I got it out on the lane the reaction was very strong. The deeper I moved and the further out I threw it the harder it would come back. Didn't really matter how far I missed target right it would still get back. Curious to see what a surface change to 2000 Abralon would do but it might be too much. Will leave as is for now. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
