Great Ball By ErikThingstad from Lexington, KY
Reviewed on: 2/11/2010
Unverified Pros:Good for my game Cons:None Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, House conditions Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Great ball for my game since I am a stroker with relatively slow speed 14mph. Predictable reaction without a lot of snap. Have had 2 300s and a 760 series with the ball this year!!!! Also the scout is good for spare shooting since the ball doesn't hook a lot. Nice! By shaftta from Sand Creek, MI

Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I can't claim to be a professional bowler so take my review with a grain of salt. I love this ball. I just started serious bowling and was hoping for a decent hooking ball that reacted consistently so I could focus on the fundamentals. This ball is wonderful. My game has gone from 120-130 to 180-190 with nothing special. For the first time, if I hit my mark, the ball delivers the strike. I roll at about 15mph, and this ball still can deliver strikes with a good back-end brake even on high-oil lanes. On dry lanes, this ball hooks like a monster. I have it drilled with a standard position fingertip grab. I'm going to buy another to experiment with a different drilling position. Was this review helpful to you? Great Ball! By Casual League Bowler from Grand Rapids, Michigan
Reviewed on: 1/9/2010
Unverified Pros:Attractive Design, Flawless Surface, Great Weight Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I had been using a 'hand-me-down' ball of my dad's for five seasons now. My wife bought me this ball for Christmas, and it has been great. I wanted more hook-action, and the Scout performs very well. In just a few weeks, I'm seeing about 20 pins more per game. My dad used my new ball last week, and he ordered one for himself! I still haven't gotten completely used to the finger tip grip and late hook action, but I'm sure that's normal for any bowler that is getting aquainted with a new ball. I highly recommend this ball. Entry Level By Matt from England
Reviewed on: 8/31/2010
Unverified Pros:Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip, Great Weight, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, House shots, Light oil Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Good entry level ball. The first purchase I made, not really knowing what i was doing and going on the advice of a frankly brilliant pro shop proprieter. Anyone hitting above 200 scores with this ball should really be moving up, and I find this ball has limited use with league oil, and frankly anything that isn't a house pattern. However, this ball is very predictable and has a turn which is strong enough to take the pocket, but not so strong that it's difficult to handle. If you're just starting out, learning the ropes of bowling hook, use this ball. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I bought this ball about three years ago when I started to learn about reactive balls. My avg went from 120 to 150 in one season. It works great in oil conditions. I really like Columbia brand ball. I am now in the process of purchasing another ball. I am going to buy a Columbia Bedlam. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Wana good deal for great ball?here it is By Agni & Rudra from hawthorne CA

Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface, Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip, Great hook, Great Weight Cons:No super strong hook Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend First off this has been the first ball i've purchased online i do however feel that i made an excellent choice going with this really bad ssa looking ball! ok at the moment i believe my avg is somewhat around 160-165 and i've been gettin a decent amount of over 210 games and i haven't even put holes in the ball yet!!! i put my hand every time in the same spot where the holes should have been drilled and i hook that baby it works perfectly great backend snap! i really honestly can't say too much negatively about this ball its really great im plannin on gettin my avg to about 200 in about the next month or two. the only thing i'd say thats negative is that although its hook is pretty solid its not as strong as it could be which in itself is not a flaw but for some it may be but considering this is an excellent entry ball its completely understandable i highly recommend this ball its great for those who throw it out there deep right and want that snap back at that last 15-20 ft.and those who throw more power it gets in the there as long as your power shot has a little hook on it. all around excellent ball A+++ oh btw my nickname's agni and rudra because i have an original WD thats blue and icy looking and now i have this flame explosion that is this scout!
