They are super comfortable, and provide good stability and control. However, if you have got stinky feet, be warned that these shoes hold it pretty well. I would recommend that you replace the inserts ASAP, as that is what holds the stink. Also, this shoe is nice if you don't need all the bells and whistles of the other SST 8's. Only down side is that the toe on your free leg may wear early. The shoe is wide on the sole, offers a very stable platform. Changable soles mean a much more consistent slide from center to center.
