I loved them!!! They are soft to start off with and I didn't have to break them in. I did have to order them 1/2 size larger but that's okay. Reviewed on: 2/17/2010 Unverified Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend I wanted a good pair of leather shoes. Unfortunately "buck" leather turns out to be white suede. But need replacing. These shoes for being buck leather are not soft or comfortable. I put them on and threw on practice ball with them, and took the back off.
