BRUNSWICK 3.5 C SYSTEM By WAY from CARY, NORTH CAROLINA
Reviewed on: 1/23/2010
Unverified Pros:Flawless Surface, Great Weight, Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend MY 3.5 C SYSTEM HAS A 60X4X 45 LAYOUTS. I USED THIS BALL ON A HOUSE SHOT. IT WAS VERY CLEAN THRU THE FRONT PART OF THE LANE. I WAS ABLE TO PLAY ANY WHERE ON THE LANES. I COULD PLAY UP THE BOARDS OR PLAYS AS DEEP AS FOURTH ARROW. THIS BALL CARRIES THE CORNER PINS VERY WELL. THIS BALL ISN'T FOR THE DRIER LANE CONDITIONS. IT NEEDS MED TO HEAVY OIL. I THINK IT'S A GOOD MATCH TO THE 2.5 C SYSTEM. GOOD JOB BRUNSWICK FOR ANOTHER GREAT BALL. ROBERT WAY Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

This ball craves oil. By Jason Checkan from Cranberry Township, PA
Reviewed on: 2/25/2010
Verified Reviewer Pros:Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design, Great Weight, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Tournaments, Upgrade, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I am a 190 average bowler. The house I bowl at has synthetic lanes with an ave amount of oil. It is basicly your normal 2nd arrow house. I am kind of a stroker who can at times bowl inside around the 3rd arrow. Out of the gate I noticed this ball was by far the most aggressive ball I've ever owned. I have an Ebonite NVS. From the start I had to move 10 boards farther left with this ball than I do with my NVS. The ball would set and then angle into the pocket when I got it out too the dry part of the lanes too early. But when I stayed inside where the oil is this ball was sick. This ball needs oil. By the end of the night I found myself playing the 4th arrow. I have been bowling for 17 years now and have never been able to play that deep. I shot a 256 game when I moved in that deep. People were asking me what I was throwing because it had a hard arcing hook and looked great and smooth when it hit the breakpoint. Was this review helpful to you? Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I just bought this ball on Saturday. Used it saturday night on lanes that were way too dry for it. Used it again on Tuesday night league. First game on Tuesday I shot my first 300. Fourth game on the ball. It hits like a ton of bricks and is very forgiving. You can swing the ball way out or if you have enough speed you can throw it up the boards. Ive been bowling for 29 years and i think this is the most comfortable ball I have ever had. This ball is not for a beginner. Once you know how to thirow it all you will say is WOW....Absolutely worth the money. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Awesome ball on the Open pattern By TheOso75 from Temecula, Ca.
Reviewed on: 5/29/2010
Unverified Pros:Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface, Attractive Design Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend My local house has the Reno Open patten setup for us that are going to the open and WOW this ball is bad. This ball out of the box and on fresh oil I threw a 691. It handled the front oil, went down to 40ft hooked, and leveled the pins. One of the things I noticed was the pins stayed low, nothing hoping over the corners. Compared to my Jigsaw, and Hot Sauce Solid, this ball felt controlled and smooth. Dial this one up a winner. A must have for your bag in Reno Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface, Comfortable Grip, Hits like a truck, Great Weight, Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Ok to start off I am a 181 average bowler. I currently own a few different balls, but always used my burn raw hammer. I've had this ball 3 weeks and at 1st it was different. But after i learned how to throw it, it is amazing. Even if i miss my mark the ball makes up for it and just kills the pins every time. This ball is so aggressive and best used on medium to heavy oil. All my other equipment is hammer, but this is the best ball in my arsenal. I recommend this to all Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

This Ball is a Machine!!! By Dub from Merriville, IN

Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This my 1st year learning the hook since May of last year. I've been a stright at them bowler for years. I owe a Jigsaw and the Siege and I LOVE MY SIEGE and JIGSAW. My avg is 150 in two leagues At two different bowling lanes with the Siege since Aug. I got this ball when it hit the pro shops in Jan and my ave jump 18 pins. This ball is flat out simply amazing!!!! This ball has a nose for the pocket. Even if I miss my mark a little (not all the time) it seem to find it way back. Monday is the first time I EVER threw 10 in a row. The one major thing I love about over the Siege is that is flushes the corner pins out almost every time!!!! The 3.5 reads the lanes better than any Brunswick ball I've throw since learning the hook. I owe a Siege, Jigsaw (great balls) love them both and they are some hard hit balls in the pocket. I just can't put down this 3.5 since I got. This ball just don't STOP, or QUIT!!!!!! Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design, Great Weight, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:Casual Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This ball is great. Bowled a 130 average with the house ball and then decided it was time to buy a ball for myself. Bought the C-System 3.5 due to reading reviews and now I am bowling a 180 average. Took about 4 to 5 games to get a feel for the ball going from a house ball to the C-System was a big change but was worth it!!!!! I don't use my thumb when I bowl so my style is a little wild but this ball is very easy to control and looks awesome. I would highly recommend this ball for any bowler. One Amazing Ball By Spawn from Dana Point, CA
Reviewed on: 7/31/2010
Verified Buyer Pros:Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface, Great Hook - Flawless, Great Weight, Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This bowling ball is flawless, absolutely amazing. I have been bowling off and on for about 6 years now - recently though I started bowling again (about 4 months ago) I'm getting back into it 10-fold. I go bowling everyday and have recently started getting lessons from the very first female to join the PBA Tour as well as has many records - alot of which were originally held by men - Missy Bellinder. I also have recently started bowling in a league again and have been doing pretty good as far as rank goes (my team is in 3rd place out of 12). When I use to be into bowling about a year ago I had my own bowling ball, shoes, bag, etc., but had them stolen one night out of my garage so instead of buying a new ball with money I didnt have I gave it up completely. So without bowling for a little over a year I start bowling again having to use house balls. (with house balls my book average was a 143... pathetic I know) As soon as I saved up enough money I bought this ball - the Brunswick C -(System) 3.5 and immediately started taking lessons. Within 2 weeks of having this ball and with only 2 weeks of lessons(consists of 4 lessons - 2 a week) I have increased my book average from that pitiful 143 to a pretty impressive (for myself) 181 average (no joke). This ball is incredible in every way, feels good, rolls good, hooks good, everything about it is good. I'm continuing to bowl every day with this ball and getting lessons twice a week and my average is slowly but surely rising. This ball is not for beginners whatsoever, and for those people out there that bowl the balls straight instead of using form with a hook and who buys a ball to look good (which is kind of pathetic) do not buy this ball because it will only make you look more pitiful when you gutter a majority of your bowls even by throwing it straight. This bowling ball is for average to advanced bowlers (who use proper form, timing and hook) depending on your hook capability (because this balls hooks alot, so thats why you need to be a much better than a rookie bowler to spin this ball correctly) I recommend this ball to anyone that wants to up there game, and increase there average, because that is exactly what this ball did for me. Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Flawless Surface, Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip Best Uses:Upgrade, Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I carry a 199 league average. I bought this ball after our fall/winter league. After getting comfortable with what this ball can do, I have been consistently over 225. This ball gives me so much room for error. I'm usually on the center dot throwing right between the 5 and 10 boards. Since I've been throwing this ball, I'm 5 boards to the left of the center dot still throwing over my same mark. If I miss my mark, it's to the right of it and this ball still finds the pocket. I haven't put it down since I bought it. Thanks Brunswick! Was this review helpful to you?
