My new friend By Pirate91 from Land O Lakes, FL
Reviewed on: 2/24/2010
Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design, Great Weight, Comfortable Grip Best Uses:League Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I'm in my 3rd week of a new league and had struggled the first 2 weeks with another brand of ball on what seem to be pretty dry lanes. This ball was around the house from last year when the step-son was using it and then moved on to a different ball. I had it redrilled for me and used it on leagues the first time last night. My average for the night was 51 pins higher than the previous week. I expect more of the same going forward. I could take some speed off the ball and throw it further right with the same results. Ten pin spares, no problem. I recommend it. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

I would love more than one in my bag. By Jahz Clinton from North Carolina

Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface, Versatility, Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip Cons:Color pattern downlane Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Had drilled with 3/4 thumb weight to break in mid-lane. I just throw a normal, smooth stroker-style shot and this hits the breakpoint, turns and stays in that direction - seeming to pick up force as it drives through the pocket. Once you get your line, you can really string some strikes together. I don't throw fast/high revs, so I have to slow down a lot on oily lanes to get a good break. For those who know how to make necessary adjustments though (speed/lines), this plays as well on dry lanes than it does wet. I'd like to get another to try drilling pin above fingers & change surface to 2000-grit polished for use as a long, snapping backend ball too - or maybe just try the 'sister' Rattler. The only negative I have is that if you like to watch axis downlane by your finger inserts, plug and pin, the color pattern makes it harder than other balls, even with bright inserts.
