Move up from Plastic to Reactive coverstock technology. Compared to Plastic, Reactive coverstock technology increases traction and hooking action in the oil, and Reactive coverstocks can be sanded or shined to create large differences in hook potential. Reactive coverstocks also respond more aggressively to dry lane surfaces than Urethane coverstocks, increasing backend hooking action and hitting power.

Not bad, for beginners By Big G "300" from Leander, Texas

Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design, Cool color, Great Weight Cons:Don't have much hook Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, For fun, Youth bowling leagues Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line: This was my first reactive ball. I did get ripped off at a pro shop though. I should have bought it here. The ball is good for it's price, however, it doesn't have a lot of hook. I have used it in some tournaments, and I did ok. I have also used it on some PBA oil patterns, and it was just like throwing my spare ball. I would not say this is the ball for more experienced bowlers, but this ball is great for younger and beginner bowlers. If you are just learning how to hook a ball, this is for you.
