Reactive coverstocks also respond more aggressively to dry lane surfaces than Urethane coverstocks, increasing backend hooking action and hitting power. This is recommended as a first high-performance ball.

Great for starting out with reactive! By Jay "Mr.300" Young from Detroit, MI

Unverified Pros:Hook Cons:Flaws In Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This was the first ball I ever bought and it did a great job. Before this ball, I was a regular house bowler and once i started useing this one, 4 years ago, it put my average at about a 170 (which is not bad for a first year bowler). But, I do think the way this ball hooks and reacts in the backend is perfect for a new bowler learning Point of Entry and Angle. Was this review helpful to you? Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface, Great Weight, Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:Casual Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I've been bowling since I was 3 years old with nothing but alley balls. Now, aged 20, I finally got this one as my first ball, and it is amazing compared to those alley balls. My game instantly improved, and I feel better using this ball than I ever used to feel. I would happily recommend this line of balls to any casual bowler looking to buy their first ball, or just needing a simple and low priced spare ball. Was this review helpful to you?
