- Description: Coverstock: Introducing Propel™ coverstock the next extension in Brunswick coverstock technology. Propel is a evolutionary coverstock developed by Brunswick to improve the mid-lane and backend traction of the ball on today’s slicker oils and lane surfaces. The Propel coverstock was discovered through testing of new formulation additives and process changes in coverstock manufacturing. Core: M.A.C.E. – Mechanical Asymmetric Core Engineering. The MACE™ core has three major benefits, Ultra Low RG core system to engage the Propel coverstock, High RG differential to aid in traction through heavy oil and High RG asymmetric differential to quicken the response time to friction. Designed as a two component elliptical core system, the MACE core is dynamically the strongest asymmetric core ever produced for a Brunswick ball. Ball Motion: The Siege™ unites the new Propel coverstock and the MACE core to produce a ball motion that is both aggressive in the oil and aggressive on the backend. The Siege is your ball when your game needs help battling heavy oil conditions and poor pin action. Seize the lanes, Conquer the pins, Defeat your opponent!!

Verified Reviewer Pros:Destroys pins on contact, Attractive Design, No 10 pin taps, Great roll on ball, Flawless Surface, Comfortable Grip, Great Weight Cons:Flawless ball in making Best Uses:League Play, Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments, Upgrade, Practice sessions Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I just got this ball from my local pro shop and have averaged 245 for the fisst 2 weeks. In my practice sessions I averaged 250 per game. This ball starts down the lane and holds the line and has great back end hitting power.I never get any corner pin taps and it destroys all pins.Even on dry lanes just move 5 boards left and you are back in the pocket with the same hitting power. If you are looking for the hardest hitting ball on the market, this is your ball Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Improved average by leaps and bounds By Marty from Aberdeen, MD.
Reviewed on: 8/29/2009
Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Attractive Design, Flawless Surface, Comfortable Grip Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I am a 195 average bowler. My first practice game was a 246 with no 10 pins left standing. My first 3 game league series was a 771 with no 10 pins left standing. If you hit your mark the ball will do the rest driving the pocket straight through the 17.5 board resulting in ten in the pit. Was this review helpful to you? performance lacking By stan from Kent Washington
Reviewed on: 1/6/2010
Unverified Cons:Ugly Graphics Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend I was looking for a ball that would perform on oily lanes, this ball was a total waste of money. First, the Brunswick said to drill 3" - 4" inches from the pin, but their certified driller said that the manufacturer specs. are all wrong and he drilled the fingers right on the pin. This ball gave me nothing even on regular surfaces. Stay with the Max Zone or some other product. Still looking for a ball that works on lanes oiled clear to the pins. Was this review helpful to you? All pro shops read this!!!!! By Dave's Pro Shop from New York
Reviewed on: 12/14/2009
Unverified Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments, Upgrade Describe Yourself:Pro Bottom Line: To all pro shop owners...in case you don't know yet, or haven't found out (the hard way as I did), DO NOT DRILL INTO THE PIN on this ball!. I have drilled pins on many balls in the past with no problems. The Seige has a steel pin under the colored pin and is undrillable. I have ruined a $40 bit and a [$] ball. Upset, you better believe it as there is no mention of this from Brunswick. Once I get done plugging and redrilling, maybe I can find out if it's a good ball or not! Was this review helpful to you? Unverified Pros:Comfortable Grip, Great Weight Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This is a great ball out of the box. It makes up for a lot of your mistakes if you don't hit your mark. Please keep in mind that you must keep this ball clean or it will lose a lot of response on the backend. But once you clean it and hit your mark watch the pins fly. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
