Good Beginner Ball By Varsity Bowler from Buffalo, NY
Reviewed on: 11/30/2009
Unverified Pros:Attractive Design, Flawless Surface, Comfortable Grip, Great Weight Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:Beginner Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This was the first ball that i owned and used for a school team. Its a good ball on dry lanes to light oil and has a nice snap at the end for an entry level bowler. I would recomend this ball to a beginner because it is easy to learn to adjust to and is a good transition from a plastic ball to a more hard core ball. Was this review helpful to you? Very good starter ball By BrokenBowler from Clinton, MO
Reviewed on: 2/17/2010
Unverified Pros:Attractive Design, Great Weight, Flawless Surface, Comfortable Grip Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:Casual Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I have just been getting really into bowling for a few months now... I finally decided I needed to get my own ball to improve my game and this is the one that was suggested to me by quite a few people for a starter ball. And it works GREAT. Since getting this ball I have raised my average over 35 points over using house balls that do not exactly fit my hand. Good for learning curves etc. Was this review helpful to you? Unverified Pros:Great Weight, Good beginner ball, Comfortable Grip Cons:Ugly Graphics, Flaws In Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade Describe Yourself:Casual Bowler Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend this is a good ball for beginners, this allows you to get a good hand on throwing a good curve ball. this ball throws in a equal travel time with a good 10 board hook. but at best advise, get rid of it as soon as possible Was this review helpful to you?
