I still consider myself a beginner. My first ball was a power groove, and the Raw Hammer psycho was a perfect upgrade for me. I moved up in weight also from 14lb. to 16lb. This ball is very forgiving and the pin action is awesome. Which means I dont have to throw a perfect ball every time.
