I still consider myself a beginner. My first ball was a power groove, and the Raw Hammer psycho was a perfect upgrade for me. I moved up in weight also from 14lb. to 16lb. This ball is very forgiving and the pin action is awesome. Which means I dont have to throw a perfect ball every time. My average has gone up around 20 pins in the few weeks I have used it. Plain and simple this ball is great! I went from a freeze to this and my average went up 23 pins in both leagues so it was a good upgrade.
