- DESCRIPTION: The MOTIV GT1 kills the pocket with a powerful new engine and an incredibly aggressive tread. The engine is the new Gear Drive™ inner core and the tread is our new MOTIVator-T™ cover. This ball also offers an industry first - a pearl NeoMark™ graphic.
Gear Drive Inner Core Technology
The MOTIV™ GT1 is powered by the Gear Drive inner core. It is a strong symmetric core with a low RG for maximum revs and a moderate diff to control shot burn-out.
MOTIVator-T Reactive Coverstock
The GT1 bowling ball has been equipped with an aggressive new tread - MOTIVator-T reactive urethane. It has more bite than our MOTIVator-X cover so it gives you a much stronger reaction. The GT1 Black Thunder Pearl cover is tuned in for medium-heavy oil with 1000 Abralon pads and Power Gel Polish.
Reverb Outer Core
The Reverb outer core of the GT1 is a low-density polyester resin with pin piercing hardness and strength. Rather than absorb impact energy, this outer core reverberates energy as it explodes through the pins.
NeoMark Graphics
The MOTIV GT1 features an industry first - a pearl NeoMark graphic. The Quicksilver Pearl logos stand out against the Black Thunder Pearl cover. It’s a killer combination.

Excellent Benchmark Ball By skegless from USA
Reviewed on: 1/10/2010
Unverified Pros:Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface, Great Weight, Attractive Design Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:Pro Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This first attempt at Motiv has me hooked. The initial response was to drill the ball to hook a little earlier. It partly holds true. I ended up with the pin below and outside the ring finger (4.5 x 4.5 0 hi track bowler). It gives me that comfortable Brunswick roll. Very even and fairly early. Out of the box was stronger than expected. Took the surface up a little bit and have it stronger than my Virtual Gravity. Excellent ball, I plan to pick up a QZ1. My only concern is the thin coverstock. Nothing has come close to the covers used on Storm. Was this review helpful to you? Awesome Ball! By Turkey Leg from Severn, MD

Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface, Great Weight, Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This ball holds its line really well and snaps on the back end. This is my favorite ball for any lane condition. The ball is also very forgiving if your off a bit. I have thrown balls 3-4 boards off my mark and this ball somehow finds the pocket.
