- DESCRIPTION: The MOTIV SX1 is just plain vicious. It wants to turn earlier, so power it down the lane for an explosive assault on the pins. The SX1 features the Sigma™ inner core, MOTIVator-X™ reactive coverstock, and 2-color NeoMark™ urethane graphics.
Sigma Inner Core
The science behind the SX1's vicious attack on the pins is the Sigma™ inner core. It has been precisely engineered to deliver an RG of 2.47 with a differential of .047 (15# ball).
MOTIVator-X Reactive Coverstock
The SX1 bowling ball is cloaked with a Jet Black MOTIVator-X reactive urethane cover. It is finished at the factory for medium oil with 2000 Abralon pads and brought to a luster with our Power Gel® Polish. For heavier oil, a 1000 Abralon unpolished finish is recommended.
NeoMark Urethane Graphics
The SX1 certainly demands attention with 2-color NeoMark™ urethane graphics. Monster Green and Vintage White logos really stand out against the Jet Black coverstock.
Reverb Outer Core
The Reverb outer core of the SX1 is a low-density polyester resin with pin piercing hardness and strength. Rather than absorb impact energy, this outer core reverberates energy as it explodes through the pins.

Great for all bowlers By Lefty from Muskegon, Mi

This is one of those balls in which anyone can use it and it will make you score higher. I have seen the number of motiv products increase in our league and the league averages are climbing every week. This ball is very forgiving on the back ends, but it will also kill the pocket. The one thing you don't really see is the coverstock absorbs less oil and relies on the flair. I've seen up to 4-5 inches in flair. I bowl with a RH two finger shovel release with a pin over ring drill. I can play from the 25 and the 35 boards with my rev rate, the SX1 hits solid and is very forgiving.
