Unverified Pros:Nice Color Combo, Strong back end, Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:Casual Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Nice looking ball. Great pin action. Took a few games to learn the line, have about 5 games on it now. Bit straighter line than expected, but very strong back end. High roll was 241. Previously played hammer bowling balls, always impressed with their quality. Nice ball for the price. Be playing this one for a while. Was this review helpful to you? Another great ball By Qpan from OHIO
Reviewed on: 2/4/2010
Unverified Pros:Great recovery, Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design Cons:Sometimes freezes in oil Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I currently bowl in league 2 nights a week. I got this hammer around 6 months ago and love it. My average went from a 170 to a 183 in a short period of time. Even if i miss my mark this ball tends to still come in strong. My ball speed is right around 16.5 - 17 and this ball is perfect for me. At 1st it was difficult to read the rotation of the ball due to the odd colors. If you're looking for a great ball for a great price i would recommend this. I like this better then the Black Widow I throw occasionally. Was this review helpful to you? Worst Hammer Ever Used By Rev'n Rick from Tampa, FL
Reviewed on: 12/6/2009
Unverified Pros:Good length Cons:No back end movement Best Uses:Paper weight Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend I throw at 15 mph, have a lot of rev. and I throw across the thirty from far left. But this ball is by far the worst hammer I have ever thrown. It will not hook. I have thrown a Cherry Vibe that hooks more than this ball. Was this review helpful to you? Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend my ave has increased by 20 pins, Ive shot four 700 series and the ball carries about 90 percent of the time. and I think that the guy that said this ball sucks should move to the right 10 or 20 boards or throw a monster hooking ball. Its a great ball for occasional bowlers and new league bowlers. It hangs straight for most the lane but if you put it in the pocket it creates some of the best pin action i have ever seen. My First Hammer By Wishful Thinker from Ocala, Fl
Reviewed on: 3/11/2010
Unverified Pros:Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This was my first hammer and first quality ball. I was expecting more hook than I get, and the cover tends to get dirty very easily. Other than those two factors, the ball is an overall good value and did increase my average by about 20 pins. I have only been bowling about 6 months, and my average went from about 150 to 170. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Absolutely Horrible By DE from Missouri
Reviewed on: 6/6/2010
Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Attractive Design Cons:Poor reaction Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend Worst ball I've thrown. The Burn has a very inconsistent hook. I average around a 190. However when I throw this ball (hitting the same arrow each time) I can have three completely different outcomes. Either it will hit the pocket perfectly, completely die out and not hook, or it will skim the nose and miss left. Out of my three hammers the Burn is the hardest to control. I've had it for about a year and I have yet to be satisfied with it, and often revert back to an old hammer that is 4+ years old. NOT WORTH THE BUY. Was this review helpful to you? Answer to my prayers By Rob from Wellington, Ohio
Reviewed on: 2/18/2010
Unverified Pros:Great Weight, Comfortable Grip Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I am a league bowler with a 167 average. I have felt lost all year trying to find a ball that fit my game and I just found it. The pro bowler that would best describe how I throw is Norm Duke. I like to target the 2nd arrow from the right side and stay a board inside the second arrow. I bought a Cell Pearl at the beginning of the season and even though it hits hard, it flips too early for me. I bought the Hammer Raw Burn tonight, went up to my House lanes and bowled a 237. This ball is exactly what I have been searching for. Five balls in 2 years and I finally have a go to ball. If your looking for a ball that goes long and hits like a ton of bricks, this is the ball for you. I know without a doubt, that if I had this ball all year, my average would be 25 pins higher at least. I bowl tomorrow night in my league and I can't wait to see what I can do in three games. I will follow up with another review after throwing a few games and I get a picture with layout Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
