- Description: The Nomad pearl features the performance proven Rotary core found in the highly successful Silver Streak Line of bowling balls. This mid-rg and higher differential weight block was one of the best sellers ever from Roto Grip. The unique shape combined with the best coverstock technology of the time was elemental to that success. Fast forward to 2009, we have taken this performance proven core and added a new coverstock to these balls. The Ultra Vision™ coverstock is bred from the original Sure Grip coverstock, but with friction enhancing additives that have given us great success with some of our other coverstock blends like the original Cytoplasmic, Cytoplasmic X™, and the recent Cytoplasmic XL™. This combination of enhanced friction and performance proven core technology is sure to please. This will be the most highly sought after weapon of choice.

Nomad Pearl Wins my Heart! By rotogrip_rick from York, PA

Verified Reviewer Pros:Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design, Great Weight, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Image Submitted by Reviewer:Customer Image (Nomad Pearl Wins my Heart!) New and improved drilling on a Nomad Solid:My specs: 17 plus and higher rev rate, 3 5/8th right and 1/16th up and left handed.Drilling specs: 50 x 5 x 60 with the pin right of my middle finger and the MB left of my thumb. No extra weight hole. For a picture of this layout, go to rotogrip[@]and check it out when they update the success stories.Reaction: By far, the cleanest Nomad Pearl I had drilled so far. Factory finish and this ball goes a great distance down the lane and does not read too early. Real strong off of the breakpoint, not real snappy like other reactive pearl bowling balls. This ball allowed me to truly start deep and allow me extra length and room towards the channel. Review based off of a 40ft KEGEL machine house pattern and a 38ft Brunswick A-22 house pattern. Thanks to "Shorty" at Bowlers Supply for the new layout idea. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface, Hard hitting ball, Attractive Design Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I use this ball in leagues for almost all lane conditions. I changed the surface to 4000, polished and now it seems to read better and is more controlable.Out of the box it reacted a little too early for me. [ ball speed about 15/16 ] Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
