- Description: Our intent was to design a “pure” urethane coverstock with less surface friction for those challenging patterns along with a core combination that would complement. We developed the U2S™ coverstock, a second generation of U2000™. It enables one to get length with out the over-reaction that resin sometimes creates. Even though it’s made of a pure urethane material it’s dynamic enough to handle today’s lane conditioners. The Turbine™ core creates ample flare to ensure fresh coverstock is always touching the lane. This translates into additional friction to create ample entry angle, without generating an over/under reaction down lane. The Natural™ integrates classic reaction with today’s modern technology to deliver unbeatable performance.

Storm comes through with a great ball! By Alexis from Fargo, ND
Reviewed on: 10/28/2010
Verified Reviewer Pros:Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface, Smooth Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Dry lane conditions, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I bought the Natural for dry lane conditions. My other equipment is quite aggressive, so I needed something that would be less aggressive once all the oil becomes dried up. I don't rev the ball very much or give it much lift, so this ball doesn't hook much at all. Which is perfect because that is the exact reason I bought the ball. The ball is great on the dry lanes. I bowl on a traveling team, and our matches are nine plus games leaving the lanes quite dry by the end. While many people are trying to move left, I just pull out the Natural, and I can throw a more comfortable shot. The Natural is a very good for inconsistent bowlers as well. The reaction is very smooth and consistant. Overal the Natural is a great bowling ball. I also don't usually throw anything other than Hammer, so for me to really like a Storm ball proves the ball must be pretty good. Was this review helpful to you? Unverified Pros:Comfortable Grip, Great Weight, Attractive Design, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I just purchased the Natural and have used it one night, but it performed very well. It has a nice smooth arc to the pocket when rolled correctly. I was bowling on some oil and it still did very well. I think I am going to like it. Was this review helpful to you? Getting at least 2 more of these things! By busdriver1119 from Largo, MD

Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design, Great Weight, Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I have a 224, 222, 232 average in all 3 of my leagues and this Storm Natural is the best move I could have ever made. After I got the balled drilled my first 3 games were: 268, 269, 257= 794, and my next 3 on my next league night was 278, 300, 230= 808. As a Storm product bowler only, this was the best ball that has happened to me since they don't use much oil anywhere these days. Thank you Storm for this early Christmas gift!! SMOOTH GRACEFUL HOOK! By DAVE THE CRANKER from HAYWARD CALIF.
Reviewed on: 9/11/2010
Verified Reviewer Pros:Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design, Great Weight, LOVE THE BLACK COLOR, Flawless Surface Best Uses:SPOTTY LANE CONDITIONS, Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I LOVE THE SMOOTH AND GRACEFUL HOOK THE NATURAL PROVIDES. I AM A 200PLUS AVERAGE BOWLER AND A CRANKER. I PLAY ON A HOUSE CONDITION AND THIS BALL SHOWS NO OVER UNDER SHOTS ON WET TO DRY CONDITION. THE BREAKPOINT GIVES ME A RELAXING STATE OF MIND KNOWING THE NATURAL IS NOT GOING TO OVER REACT INTO THE NOSE AND LEAVING SPLITS BECAUSE OF MY CRANKING POWER. THE NATURAL STAYS IN THE POCKET IN A SPLIT SECOND BEFORE IT HITS THE PINS. THIS IS CALLED 'SET' WHICH MEANS THE BALL HOLDS JUST BEFORE IT ENTERS THE POCKET. THE NATURAL DOES NOT CAUSE ME TO JUMP IN TERROR LIKE THE REACTIVE DOES WHEN I HIT IT HIGH IN DANGER OF LEAVING SPLITS!!! Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Changed my game entirely By Dave the much improved from Fort Collins, CO
Reviewed on: 8/31/2010
Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface, Great Weight, Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I purchased the Natural thinking that it would allow me to perform well on low oil patterns in situations my Storm Shift Gravity tended to over-hook. I drilled layout #4 on the Storm drilling sheet. Anyway to make a long story short, I don't use my Shift Gravity anymore. After only eight games with the Natural, I've bowled my second highest game (248), and my highest series ever (697). That might not seem like much to boast about, but this is after holding steady at an average of about 175 for nearly two years. The urethane cover-stock reacts predictably under nearly all oil conditions, allowing me to play my game with minimal compensation for lane conditions. My drilling layout, combined with the length that the Natural gets from its U2S cover allows for a consistent and controllable line. What's more, I no longer have to throw cross lane to hit the pocket. I can approach from my dominant hand side and play a slow arc that hits hard. Since minor changes in lane conditions barely affect the roll of the Natural, I also find my line stays more consistent throughout a series. This ball is highly forgiving for inconsistent players, and controllable enough to be thoroughly enjoyed by league bowlers. I suggest it for high-rev bowlers who want are tired of constantly adjusting for changing back-ends and drying lanes. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

WOW By JEFF from YUMA AZ
Reviewed on: 3/10/2010
Verified Reviewer Pros:Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface, Great Weight Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:Pro Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE A STEP BACK TO THE 90'S. I AM A SR BOWLER WITH SLOW (13-14 MPH) SPEED AND HAVE TROUBLE WITH BACK END REACTION USING THE REACTIVE BALLS. I ORDERED A 14# NATURAL HAD IT DRILLED USING THE #4 PATTERN AND SHOT 269-725 OUT OF THE BOX ON A PAIR OF LANES THAT MY OTHER STORM REACTIVE BALLS BROKE WAY TO MUCH. I AM PUMPED AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE NATURAL WILL MAKE MY OTHER BALLS OBSOLETE. IT HAS A VERY CONTROLABLE BACK END BUT STILL HITS LIKE A BRICK EVEN AT 14#. Was this review helpful to you? Unverified Pros:Attractive Design, GO TO BALL, LOVE THE BLACK COLOR, Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface, Great Weight Best Uses:DIFFICULT LANE CONDITIONS, Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS BALL SO MUCH I NOW USE IT ALL THE TIME IN ANY CONDITION ANY HOUSE.THIS NATURAL BALL PERFORMS SO CONSISTENTLY ON OIL TO DRY PARTS OF THE LANE I FEEL SO COMFORTABLE KNOWING ANY ERROR I MAKE WITH MY RELEASE IS NOT GOING TO SHOW UP LIKE THE REACTIVE BALLS WOULD! THE CONTRAST FROM WET TO DRY IS TAMED TO THE POINT WHERE MAKING ADJUSTMENTS IS MINIMAL. I HAVE BEATEN OTHER BOWLERS BADLY BECAUSE THE LANE CONDITIONS WERE TRICKY AND THEIR REACTIVE BALL FOOLS THEIR MINDS WHILE MY NATURAL GRACEFULLY HOOKS INTO THE POCKET FRAME AFTER FRAME LEAVING MY COMPETITORS STUNNED. I AM GLAD I GOT IT AND IT BRINGS MY AVERAGE UP AGAIN LIKE IN 1990'S. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
