Poor Functional Design By TJ from Honolulu, HI
Reviewed on: 3/23/2011
Verified Reviewer Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend I am very displeased with this bag. I've had it for less than 6 months and felt like destroying it. Let me explain. The shoe compartment: very tight. I have very wide feet and own a pair of SST8 11.5 wide shoes. It's a big task to remove and put the shoes back in. It will smash your shoes flat. The only pluses are the built in ventilation holes. The ball compartment: does what it's supposed to do. The ball cups are shallow, which lends to shifting when put in an upright position. It seems the padded separator is supposed to make up for this. The collapsible handle: cheaply designed. You have to be careful going off a curb even at slow speeds. The handle feels like it may twist and break. This is not acceptable for a roller. Side pockets: very narrow. I keep a couple rolls of athletic tape and scissors in one pocket and my powder balls and pouch in the other. With only a few things in my possession, the pockets bulge a lot. Front pocket: very tight. I carry 2 soles, 2 heels and 2 traction soles in it's pouch and you can barely fit it. Bag handles: poorly positioned and poorly reinforced. Makes carrying 2 balls feel like a 100 lb. bag of rice. Velcro attaches fine. Front bag handle: extremely poor design. Within the first month of use the handle ripped where sewn to the bag. This is the probably the most important piece on the bag as it helps to get your bag in and out of your vehicle. Wheels: The most AMAZING sets of wheels I've ever experienced on any bag -- period. It's makes transporting your bag a silent operation. Overall: Terrible bag. I recently upgraded to a Roto Grip roller and do not miss the Yellow Jacket. Was this review helpful to you? Best roller bag on the market By Todd Richards from Kansas City
Reviewed on: 4/2/2011
Unverified Pros:Rolls really quite, Lots of space, Cool color wheels, Great Design Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This bag rolls so smooth you can almost forget it is there. While you hear the other bags rumble across the parking lot my it dead silent. My size 12 shoes fit great and I like the extra pockets for my tape and stuff. Was this review helpful to you? not for tall people By Beechboy from Grapevine, Texas
Reviewed on: 10/14/2010
Unverified Pros:Rolls well in parking lot Cons:Shoe zipper cheap, Handle too short, Name tag won't stay shut Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend Handle to short for people over 6' tall. I'm 6'2" and have to bend over to pull or it stands up and tries to run under me. The worst thing is the zipper for shoe compartment. It sticks almost everytime and locks up, and always comes apart in other places when zipped. Very cheap. All others on the bag seem OK. Bag turns over very, very easy. Bag tag won't stay closed. Reviewed on: 2/25/2011
Verified Reviewer Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend The bag is easy to use -I'm a diabetic - It carries everything I need -- even my insulin kit-. EXCEPT any liquids . How about a pocket on the outside for my water or juice ? Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
