The 900Global Dark Matter bowling ball features the S60 Solid coverstock that stores energy and is responsive on the backend. The symmetric Dome core helps produce a hooking motion at the back of the lane while maintaining continuation and power. This ball is best used on medium to dry lane conditions for those looking for that backend hook.
55X3 3/4x 45 w/ low holePAP: 4 7/8 by 5/8 upThe Dark Matter is an awesome addition to my arsenal and newly released from 900 Global. The Dark Matter gets down the lane utilizing the new S60 solid coverstock. Turning hard at the break point this ball creates tons of pin action. The Dark Matter is excellent for wet dry house shot conditions as well as sport conditions that may have some over/under. I've used it in both scenarios and it has failed to let me down. I have placed this in my lineup reading later than the Black Ops also having more back end angular motion than the respect pearl and the black ops.
The Dark Matter, is a ball that you will like on house shots after lanes break down or on lower volume to medium oil patterns. This is one of, if not the most angular ball in 900 Globals line and fills a spot in their line of equipment. The great thing about this ball is, how smooth it is through the front part of the lane and just comes off your breakpoint very strong. Even when I missed right the ball smoothed out a little bit and didn't overhook and smashed the pocket. This ball gives me quite a bit of miss down the lane. And the shape of this ball is quite different than any other ball in their line. This ball needs to be in your bag, especially if you bowl a lot of tournaments. I drilled this ball with pin above fingers right in the middle of both fingers. 51/2 inch pin for me. I throw the ball about 16mph and rev rate is around 370. Great job 900Global!
An outstanding ball for medium to slightly less medium lane conditions depending on your ball speed. Its very angular at the back in of the lane. William Banks, 900 Global/AMF,Professional Staffer.
Drilling: Stack Label with pin overSurface: BoxDescription: The Dark Matter has the most responsive back end of any non pearl ball I may have ever thrown. It has solid mid lane reaction that doesn't have a problem picking up when missing inside on most THS. I have multiple of these with very drastic drillings and as the overall shape has changed the one thing that is steady is the insane response off of down lane friction. Hard hitting and fun to throw, the Dark Matter is a ball that can fill a spot in anyones arsenal.

The first time I threw this ball I knew it was a keeper, the ball motion is so clean and constant with a sharp continuous back end reaction. The new Dome Symmetric core is a special edition to the 900 GLOBAL lineup, and with a great mid price point, it's very affordable too! This is the perfect ball for medium oil conditions, and it combats those wet-dry house shots too..... 900 GLOBAL keeps releasing the best mid-price products in the industry, maybe it's time to step up to the plate and get your DARK MATTER today to get some performance in YOUR game.
The Dark Matter has a medium RG at 2.52, symmetrical core and is part of the Tour Preferred line of bowling balls. I have mine drilled pin parallel and to the right of the ring finger, cg at 80 degrees. This ball is a monster on the backend! Compared to the Respect Pearl the Dark Matter has a more angular motion on the back end and likes medium to light oil. The Dark Matter and the Respect Pearl complement each other great the Respect Pearl has more mid lane and the Dark Matter has more skid flip. The Dark Matter works really well when the heads are gone and you need to stand left and throw right. Get some "Performance for your game". Get the Dark Matter! Layout50x5x50Pap4"over and 1-3/8"upQuickly became one of my favorites as the first game out of box was front 10. This ball is very clean through the front with it's shiny cover. It stores energy and the pins don't know what hit em. Just this week I decided to go to the Dark Matter for my high series of 825. You won't be disappointed with this option whether on high scoring house shots or on sport conditions. If you want a little earlier motion from the ball don't be shy from putting a little surface just to knock the polish off. It really doesn't Matter once you go Dark Matter!Lawrence Marquez900 Global Regional Staff Member
Coverstock: S60 SolidFinish: 1500 Grit, PolishedColor: Navy / Ocean BlueCore: Dome SymmetricPin Placement: Above and slightly right of ring finger (RH)PAP: 4.5" over and 1" upTest Pattern: THS (both fresh and broken down on a variety of lane surfaces)At first I didn't know what to expect when combining a shiny finish on a solid coverstock with a symmetric core. I personally had never had a ball in my arsenal like this one until now and from what I have seen so far, I am incredibly impressed. This ball was showed the predictability expected from a symmetric solid along with the backend motion typically seen in pearlized equipment. Once you become accustomed to the motion of this ball you have no trouble trusting it to make the turn when needed. This ball is quickly becoming my go to on any type of medium oil pattern and is generally the first ball out on all THS. Another fantastic release from 900 Global.Brent Ritchie900 Global Regional Staff Member
