Balls with Same Hook Potential, Lane Conditions and Coverstock as the 900Global Honey Badger Revival:

900Global Honey Badger Revival

The 900Global Honey Badger don't care and neither does the Honey Badger Revival! Sometimes you need a ball that can be a little scrappy, that is where the Honey Badger line of bowling balls comes in. The Honey Badger Revival introduces a twist to the original and now famous Grapnel Core for a 2.0 version. This core is paired with the S70 Hybrid coverstock. The cover gives the bowler good traction in the oil and an angular reaction when it hits the dry. The core creates more length and aggressiveness at the breakpoint.

Question:

I bought the global honey badger I also have a Roto grip halo will the badger work the same

8/10/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Halo is considered a high performance ball and it has a solid cover with a 2000 grit finish which make it good for heavy oil and a smooth arcing hook. The Honey Badger Revival is a mid performance ball with a hybrid cover and polished finish so it works more in medium to light oil and has more length with a sharper backend hook.

Question:

My husband needs a ball with a medium curve that gets good pin action. His current ball just cuts through the pins with no action at all. Will this ball help with that?

11/15/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

It is very possible that this would be a good fit. I am not sure what ball he uses currently which does not give him much pin action but this ball is designed to have a sharp backend hook that gives a good entry angle to the pocket and this helps get more pin action because of the entry angle.
