Pros:

nice and smooth

Cons:

dry lanes

Best Uses:

Heavier oil

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Yes it hooks very nicely!

Out of the box I loved this ball. Rolled very well. started standing normal 25 then move left as the night went on. threw 15-20 at the arrows and out to 8-10 at the break point. BUT...as the time went on, YES it got a little lane shine on it...and I like it a little better! I didn't have to move so fast as the night went on. It reacted very nice! Shot a few really nice 700's so far. We know bowling here in Michigan started back up a little bit ago. But the ball is going to stay in my bag for sure!

Question:

How is this ball different from the RST?

2/21/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are very similar but the Reality will read a little earlier on the lanes than the RST X-1. Other than that both balls are high performance and made for heavier oil conditions.

Question:

How would this ball react shined up?

7/29/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The ball currently will read the midlane strong and have a smooth arcing hook. If you were to polish the ball it will make the ball read later on the lanes for a sharper backend hook. Also, polishing the ball will make this read more in medium to heavy oil instead of heavy oil only.

Question:

How does compare to the Storm Proton Physix

9/14/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They have very similar numbers across the board actually. Both solids, both 2000 grit and the weight block is very close. The Proton weight block reads just slightly earlier which gives it just slightly more overall hook but the numbers are almost the same.

Question:

Needing something to replace my crux prime ,cant choose between reality or proton physic, whats your opinion

1/22/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are both going to be very very similar. The all have solid coverstocks and all have a 2000 grit out of the box finish. All have asymmetric weight blocks but the Reality RG specs read just slightly closer to the Crux Prime than the Proton Physix but they are so close that you would probably not tell the difference so since they are all so close it just comes down to which one you like the best.

Question:

What are the top weight / pin position for these balls

1/26/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

You may request a pin placement or top weight if you know which specs you need to get a specific drilling layout. If you are not sure what pin or top weight to request you may check with your driller before ordering to confirm what you need to request for.

Question:

My rev rate is low and my ball speed is 14 - 14.5. What ball would you recommend for heavier oil conditions

2/10/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The 900Global Reality is designed to work on heavier oil conditions and would be a good match for you in heavier oil. You have a low rev rate and fairly average speed so you are speed dominant and do not want a ball that reacts too late on the lanes. This ball reads in the mid lane very well.

Question:

What is the rev rate

2/18/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Rev rate would be how may rotations you get on the ball when you release it. The rev rate is different from bowler to bowler and not a feature of the bowling ball itself.

Question:

My regular speed is usually 10-11 on my 14lbs ball. What would you suggest lbs on a ball so I could get a higher rev rate?

6/11/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

I would suggest possible dropping your weight a little because if you ball speed is 10-11 at 14lbs you may be able to handle a lighter weight ball with a little more ease and this could help you to release the ball with more revs. I would typically say to increase the weight to slow down the ball but your ball speed is already lower so I slowing down the ball is not really a benefit in this case.

Question:

Do the bowling balls come drilled or undrilled?

11/14/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This bowling ball will not have any finger holes. If we offer a drilling option for an extra fee you could select this to get the holes drilled by us but otherwise you would have to get the ball drilled at a local proshop after you receive the ball.

Question:

How would the Reality compare to the Absolute and the RST-x3?

6/15/2023 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Of these 3 the Reality will read the earliest on the lane and the Absolute would read the latest with the RST X-3 in the middle. The earlier read on the Reality will have a smoother arcing hook down the lane than the other two and this helps it to react a little better in very heavy oil conditions.

Question:

Would the reality be a good choice for someone who has an infinite physix?

7/24/2023 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Reality will read the lanes earlier with a more controlled arcing hook comparted to the Infinite Physix. So if you were needing a ball to help give you a different look on heavier oil conditions the Reality may be a good look. If you were wanting something more similar to the Infinite Physix then you may prefer the Eternity Pearl that gives more length.

Which is more versatile the reality, black widow 3.0,or hammer envy?

2/14/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Hello there! The Hammer Black Widow 3.0 Solid would be the most versatile based on the recommended lane conditions medium to heavy oil rather than heavy oil lane conditions for the other two balls.
