900Global Wolverine Pearl

900Global Wolverine Pearl

900Global is introducing the Wolverine mid-performance bowling ball as having the biggest backend in the line to date on medium lane conditions. The S70 Pearl Reactive coverstock is polished with 1500-grit and is wrapped around the Lacerate 2.0 symmetric core. The Lacerate 2.0 core is a mash-up of 900Global's two most successful cores. The top part is from the Honey Badger core while the bottom part is from the Badger with an added flip block. This weight block was created to power the Wolverine to change directions with jaw dropping angle. This core and cover pairing allow the bowler to move in and open up angles while tearing up the backend and the competition.

Question:

Will this bowling ball pair good with my Storm Hyroa

Answer:

I think this ball would be very similar to the Storm Hy-Road in a lot of ways. This may have more length and more backend hook while the Hy-Road reads later but not quite as late as the Wolverine Pearl and the HyRoad is a little smoother on the backend. Both are made to work well in medium oil so you might find that on certain nights one would work better than the other but you would not likely use both balls the same night.
