The 900Global Zen U combines the reliability of a solid coverstock with the consistent nature of a urethane coverstock. The S35 Urethane+ Solid coverstock has a quicker response than most urethane covers and is wrapped around the large and aggressive Mediate LD symmetric core. This high-performance bowling ball is best used on shorter patterns and will continue the unique shape that bowlers have favored from the Zen ball line.

The Zen U urethane comes out of the box sanded at 1000 Abralon, allowing it to start up strongly in the midlane. The all new s35 Urethane+ Cover provides a quicker response time compared to traditional urethane. This core and cover combination will excel on short patterns and over/under or “cliffed” house conditions.
COMMENTS
I use this on light to Med oil conditions. I am not usually not a urethane coverstock fan because I seem to get a lot of over under reactions with them. But not with this ball. I get a very consistent. More continuous than my UC3 and hooks a little less.

ZEN U
ZEN U .. The newest urethane ball from the Global series Featuring the Zen Famous meditate core. A lot of success with this core now wrapped with a urethane cover. This ball is something special. Traditional urethane for me reads super early and then kind of slow and flat down lane. The Zen U for me gets through the front part of the lane and has a defined continuous shape down lane. For me its later than a Pitch black and to compare it to a UC3 its less violent on the back end. It’s a perfect in between ball. Typically I would not use urethane on a house shot because I feel you lose area and carry but not with the Zen U.

900 Global’s new Zen U is a Symmetrical Urethane piece that is good for Medium-Dry conditions. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Drilled this piece with the Pin up between the fingers and CG kicked out 1.5” from the palm. Out of Box ball motion picks up early In the midlane but doesn’t stop. Good piece to start a block with when you do not need a smooth reaction on fresh. This piece is good for all types of styles.
