AMF Xcite Orange/Pink

This AMF Excite Orange/Pink ball has a higher RG symmetric core that creates length on lane conditions that are drier. This symmetric core is wrapped with a pearlized F43 polished coverstock. This coverstock along with a moderate differential will produce a good snap motion at the backend.

Xcite Review by Jimmy Casteel

Drilling: Pin between fingers stacked
Surface: OOB
Lane condition: 41ft THS
Description: This ball is the one to go to when the lanes begin to get fried. As an entry level reactive ball, this does not fair well in oil, unless you want to play extreme direct angles. One thing I can say about this ball is that it definitely does not hit like an entry level reactive. The color scheme on this series is amazingly bright and will have great shelf appeal. The brighter the colors, the more popular the ball it seems to be lately, so AMF 300 hit the nail on the head with the Xcite series.

My favorite of 3 balls

Took it to the state tournament a couple of months ago and came in 4th in All Events with just this ball. I have to blue and yellow one now at 14 lbs. About to buy the pink and orange at 15 lbs. Great ball. Especially for the price.

Question: Do the 11lb and balls have the weight block or just a pancake weight block?

5/13/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer: Great question, Ed! The 11 lb ball does not have the regular weight block or a pancake weight block. AMF still uses a weight block for this weight, but it is a more generic, light bulb-shaped weight block.
