Question:

I am upgrading from a plastic ball, I throw a pretty straight ball and would like it to hook a bit at the end of the lane to get into the pocket better

Answer:

This would be a great option to move up to. It has a pearl cover with a polished finish which will help the ball go fairly straight for most of the lane and then on the backend it will have a sharp hook.

Question:

I'm looking to add some more hook to my game. Currently rolling the twist (works alright in light oil, but not enough in easy games with medium oil). Is this the next step up or is there a better option?

Answer:

This would be a good step up from the Twist and it will still give you similar length but will have a stronger hook potential to help this work better in medium oil conditions.

Question:

Is this a good straight bowler ball? If not what would you recommend?

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you need the ball to go straight then the best option would be a plastic/polyester ball. This ball has hook potential because of the coverstock and the weight block so your are paying more for the ball due to the features that help it hook.
