I am considering getting this too keep from breaking my wrist on top of the bowling ball. At a certain point will I be able to stop using it and after wearing it have it trained my wrist to stop breaking on top of the ball?

This wrist support will have features to help you get the desired release you are wanting. This support will let you have a consistent release every time. After a while of using this, you may be able to stop using the support but it can take a long time for you to adjust to a point where you no longer require the support.
