Brunswick Prism Hybrid

The Brunswick Prism Hybrid high performance bowling ball helps introduce the Portal core which has a very low RG with a high differential and intermediate differential. This core features Brunswicks DynamiCore and DOT technology. This core is covered with Activator Composite Technology (ACT) Hybrid and then finished with 500 Siaair and then Crown Factory Compound. This finish offers easy length while still reacting at the breakpoint. These factors make up a glossy bowling ball with an asymmetric core that can read the mid-lane well and offers a powerful and angular backend reaction.

Question:

Would this be a ball for A 73yr old that still caries a 193 ave

Answer:

This will be a very strong ball for medium oil conditions and may even work well for you in some heavier oil conditions. If you typically bowl when the lanes are medium to heavy then I believe this would be good for you but if the lanes are medium to lighter oil most of the time then this would be too strong probably to use.

Question:

Does this ball require oil removal after so many games?

Answer:

Yes, any performance ball will require that you clean the ball off to help prevent the oil from soaking into the coverstock. With this being a higher performance ball it will actually soak up oil quicker than a lower performance ball so I would suggest that you have a towel with you when you are bowling and as soon as the ball comes back through the ball return take your towel and wipe off any oil that you see. Then at the end of the night before you put the ball up or in your bag I would recommend taking a ball cleaner and cleaning the ball off at the end of the night. This will help ensure that you get the best performance out of your ball for the longest time. If at any point you notice the ball is not reacting as strong as it once did, you could also check with your proshop on ways to do a deeper clean to help get some oil out of the cover.
