Question:

Is this a good general purpose ball, good for strikes and spares?

Answer:

Yes Allen, the Strike King bowling balls are good general all purpose bowling balls. They are considered an entry level ball because they have more than a basic weight block so they can have a hooking motion, but it is not a complex core so it can roll pretty straight too.
