Question:

I'm a senior citizen with a spinal cord injury. I am limited to a 14lb ball and delivery speed 13mph.I can only stand still and deliver the ball. Prefer playing down and in and usually target center dot with feet over fitst arrow. I prefer strong arch over skid/flip reacton. I drll my own equipment but have been unable to get away from too strong of an entry angle. Can you suggest a pin placementfor me? Thanks, Jim

Answer:

The pin placement is not as important as the actual drilling layout. You could do a pin between 2-3 and then try to get your drill pattern to be one that is designed to give you a smoother reaction on the lanes to help this ball possible try to read earlier. Also, you could try to refinish this ball to a 3000 or 4000 grit to take off some of the skid flip reaction that the polished finish gives.
