Columbia is reintroducing the Messenger bowling balls with some awesome new colors. These balls feature the Messenger core and Super Flex coverstock and includes Columbia's HyperShock Technology. This ball was designed to offer a skid/flip reacation when used on lightly oiled lanes.

This ball does have a hook potential in lighter oil conditions. With a little bit of hook you can get the ball to come into the pocket with a better entry angle and this helps the ball drive through the pins better and get more pin action leading to more strikes.

We do not currently offer custom performance drilling for this ball at this time. You may get this ball without holes and have this drilled at a local proshop to get the performance full roller layout drilling.

Most bowling balls will come a couple of ounces over the weight ordered and after drilling it only takes a couple of ounces out so the weight will be very close to the weight you selected. I would select 9lbs if that is a weight you are comfortable with.

Whether the ball is right or left handed the finger holes will usually be close to the pin of the ball. You will need to make sure you talk to your local proshop about how you need this ball drilled and which hand you need the ball for so they make sure the alignment is correct.
