Step into the jungle with the Columbia 300 Saber bowling ball. This ball was designed with a cover and core combination to offer mid lane traction and continuation. this reaction is achieved through the pairing of the New-Dynamix core and the Reflex Solid coverstock. If you are looking to prey on the competition with strong continuous hook then look no further than the Saber.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how versatile C300 had made the cover. The RELFLEX cover provides depth and backend when polished and if you want something earlier the box finish is perfect. The Saber utilizes the new Dynamix core which in this writer's opinion matches well with the cover giving it a nice engine that maximizes the strength of the cover. On THS I find this piece to be an exception 2nd half series ball that permits the user to not make large moves when the carry-down hits.As an UMP ball, the Saber hits the mark. Mine is a mainstay in my weekly repertoire for leagues and always for tournament time.
it Is very smooth at the turn and keeps rolling. Great ball to have in your arsenal.
I am an amateur staffer for Columbia 300. I have had the chance to throw the new Saber on a few various THS. I also was at the Ace Mitchell Trade Show and threw a Demo Saber. I liked it at the demo, loved it when I drilled my own. The motion on the Saber is awesome. Reads well in the mid lane, and very continuous down the lane. It honestly reminds me of the Antics, one of my favorite C300 bowling balls since I have been on C300 Staff. Missing out on this great UMP bowling ball will be a big mistake...
The Saber is definitely in the strong category but I was pleasantly surprised to see how versatile the cover was. I like mine shined, I find that I get more use out of this ball with the cover shined. I also can open up the backend more with the cover shined. If you want it to read earlier, simply leave the box finish on it. Cover is very versatile.
