Question:

Is the savage life stronger than the motiv forge

2/26/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Forge has a solid coverstock and the Savage Life has a pearl coverstock. Usually solid coverstocks will hook sooner than pearls. Solids are usually stronger than pearls as well.

Answer:

I am not able to tell which coverstock is stronger from the descriptions but they have very similar features and I would think they are going to be about the same strength and hook about the same amount.

Question:

Can this ball be used when it's not that much oil

8/16/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is a high performance ball so it is going to have a high hook potential and it also would need medium to heavier oil for this ball to work well. In lighter oil it would be very hard to control and would not give you its best results. I would not recommend this for lighter oil conditions.

Question:

How does this compare to the savage i'm having trouble coming heavy

1/15/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Savage was a duller finish that helped it to read the lanes earlier and have a smoother arcing hook. The Savage Life is a pearl version and it goes longer on the lane and has a sharper hook on the backend of the lanes.

Question:

I have a columbia 300 nitrous would this be a good medium to heavy ball for me?

2/4/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes, this would give a very similar late break that you get from the Nitrous but it will work in medium to heavier lane conditions and then when the lanes start to get lighter you can change to the Nitrous and keep a very similar reaction.

Question:

I have a columbia 300 nitrous would this be a good medium to heavy ball for me?

2/7/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes, this would be a great combination to pair with the Nitrous. This could be your first ball out of the bag for the beginning of the night when the lanes have more oil and then as the lanes get drier and this ball gets too strong to use you can transition to the Nitrous and it would give you a similar reaction on medium to light oil.
