The Columbia Swerve goes through the pins like never seen before. Columbia combined a Reflex coverstock and Swerve core and is introducing Hyper Shock technology with this ball. The Relex coverstock has a high traction surface the sends lots of energy to the core due to its boosted crosslink dense polymer matrix. The core has a lower strength of mass bias which allows for more drilling options that appeal to a wider range of bowler. This core produces a little bit stronger mid lane read than most symmetrical cores, but it does have the predictability of a symmetrical ball. The Hyper Shock technology is worth getting excited about. Columbia added a material to the inner core to enhance and help propel the ball through the pins. The viscoelasticity of this material helps minimize the effect the pins have on the ball as it moves through the deck. The technology in this ball gets you to the pocket and then drives through the pins like never before.
This ball is great and has the most pin action I've seen in awhile. The drive of the ball is like no other!
I drilled my Swerve pin over bridge and Mass Bias under the Thumb. I was looking for a controllable strong rolling ball to combat a variety of conditions and have been amazed by the Swerve. I love the reaction and strong yet smooth roll of it and how it reads the lane.
The thing that caught my eye the most was the difference in sound and pin action as the ball went through the pins. the new Hypershock technology that Columbia has developed may be a true game changer. My carry percentage on 50/50 hits (I like to use this term for light swisher hits that carry about half the time) was amazing. I really noticed a difference in how many of those hits carried for strikes. This ball is a must have and I can't wait to see what they come up with next!
Likes: Strong roll, continuation, and most of all PIN CARRY!
The new Columbia 300 Swerve. This ball has it all! It gets through the fronts really well! It makes its motion a little sooner because of the surface and the new hypershock technology, but what makes it so special is the way that it continues through the pins. I just got it punched up last night, so I've only had the chance to see it on a completely broken down house pattern; however, I am beyond impressed and I can't wait for league nights this week! I could already see a difference in my pin carry. This will be a great ball to have in your bag, as it will be conducive on multiple lane conditions. Several of the other EBI staffers have more than one, and I can definitely see why. Don't miss out on this one! #teamc300 #letsbowl
Got this ball last week. Didnt take long, Perfect game with it the 4th game with it in my hand.
Hello all! Let's talk about this new weapon from C300! It's all new cover/core is very versatile and better than ever! This is my go to ball. I am a high rev rate lefty that likes to play around 15-5 to create pin action. I drilled my swerve 55x4.25x40 and it's a total beast. It's smooth in the front part of the lane and it's continuous motion is insane through the back part of the lane! I recommend this ball to be in everyone's bag no matter what! So start swerving around the competition today! Thanks Team C300 ambassador Paul Smith!
As many know Las Vegas does not skimp on lane oil. The ball is perfect for our oily lanes here in Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was a gift a bowling ball that my dad really enjoys.
