Great question, Max! No, the slide soles do not run from toe to heel. It runs from the toe to approximately a little past the middle of the shoe.

It is hard to say if you are between sizes how exactly this shoe will fit. If you had a pair of Dexters before you could go with that same size but with this shoe being a closeout and we cannot do returns or exchanges it will be a bit of gamble on the size. If you were able to try on a Dexter locally or maybe have a friend that you can check with about how their Dexters fit for them you may also use this to get some ideas before ordering. We are sorry that we could not give a definite answer on this.
