Nice

Very nice shoe. Prior to this I bowled on the same pair of neutral shoes for the last 6 yrs. I'd switched balls several times but never thought to change up the shoes. My average is a 152 for the last 2 yrs. No kidding first night I got them right out of the box I bowled my first 600 series. 614. The guys on my team started yelling Shooooooeees after every strike I'd throw. Great investment, I can't believe I didn't upgrade sooner. Good looking, comfortable and a lot more control and power on the approach.

Look like a good shoe

Ok so first pair the soul was not formed correctly and come out to the left by a 1". The second pair now the left shoe feels like a 7 3/4" and the right a 7 1/2"
The second pair also the soul is the same way, not as bad but for the money it should fit like a pair and look like a pair.

Dexter quality....is sadly lacking

These are the 2nd pair of SST6's whose brake shoe has delaminated at the toe tip. I also had a pair or 5's where this happened. As this pair was barely a year old, I took them to a shoe repair shop. The owner stated that since Dexter uses CARDBOARD in the sole instead of leather, they will separate if you happen to drag the foot. The shoe repair also stated that if they'd used leather, it probably would never have happened. The bottom line is Dexter charges top dollar, but uses low quality materials. They are not worth the money.

Quality Bowling Shoe

This shoe is excellent. The platform of the shoe seems to be a bit wider than normal which provides superb stability during approach. The stitching on the shoe is heavy duty, done with a thick grade of thread which will provide durability for a long time to come. Shoe even has toe drag protector on it (I don't toe drag). Ventilation is excellent. I've bowled 15-20 game practice sessions in them and my feet were NOT drenched with sweat afterwards. That, for me, is a serious plus.

Finally the slide, which is what I was most after. I began bowling by purchasing some $40 shoes that had slide pads on both sides and the slide was low grade at best. These shoes come with the S8 & S6 pads. I put on the S8 and because I was SO used to not having any slide I had to take a couple of weeks just getting my balance issues worked out because I was able to slide!!! I had bowlers hip in a serious way prior to buying these shoes. That is now a thing of the past! I have not had a single hip issue since purchasing these shoes!

All in all, this is a great shoe. I wouldn't even say that it's a step down from the SST8's. They're $10 cheaper and they don't change out (soles & heels) on non-slide shoe. Besides that, these are quality pro-level shoes. Very, very glad I purchased these.

These shoes are very comfortable and perform well. I tryed a pair of SST 8's and did not like them they were to stiff and not comfortable at all.

SST 6

Awesome shoe. The wide square toe makes this shoe very comfortable. This shoe design helped me maintain my balance. I have two bad knees and a bad left hip. After wearing this shoe during league play, my knees and hip did not hurt. I was actually able to slide, OMG. I love the adjustable sole and heel on the slide shoe. This is an excellent shoe. they are definitely worth the money.
