This shoe has interchangeable soles and heels on both feet. So you can make this right handed by putting the slide sole on the left shoe and the traction sole on the right shoe. Or you can make this left handed by putting the slide sole to the right shoe and the traction sole on the left foot. The pads work on both shoes so this works for either handed bowler.

Left handed bowlers usually need the slide sole on the right shoe and the traction sole on the right shoe. This shoe is unique because the pads on both shoes are interchangeable so you can make this right or left handed just by switching the pads to the other foot.

It is hard to say exactly how this shoe will fit each person. Different shoes have slight differences and sometimes those difference are enough to make you have to get a different size and sometimes it is not a big enough difference. If you have had Dexters before then you may go with that size but if you have never had a Dexter before you may want to go with a model that is not on closeout so that you can exchange if the sizing is not a great fit.

If you have never had a Dexter shoe before then it could be hard to say how this shoe will fit you compared to your other shoes. With this being a closeout shoe, we would not recommend this option because it cannot be returned or exchanged unfortunately. You may want to consider a shoe that is not on closeout because you could do an exchange on the other shoes if they did not fit. We are sorry for any inconvenience on this.

Unfortunately there are not any shoes designed for toe drag. For every shoe you will eventually see the shoe wear or break down around the toe if you drag your toe. This model does have the toe clip to help prevent the pad from peeling back if you drag your toe but even the toe clip area will eventually wear down if you drag your toe.

You may use other THE 9 soles on this shoe and you may use any of the SST heels. You cannot use the SST soles though because they have to be compatible with THE 9 shoes for the soles to work.
