If you were to get this drilled to match your backup style this should work fine. It is designed to work in medium to light oil conditions.

I am getting older and my ball speed has slowed down. Ian using a 15lb ball. Will this ball be ok for me in a 14 lb ball. I actually had one of the original beasts years ago and lived it

Yes, the 14lb ball will have a very similar reaction to the 15lb and also you will not loose much of the hitting power just dropping 1lb.
