Hammer Black Widow Dark Legend X-OUT

Hammer continues to make the stuff of legends but this one is on the dark side. The Black Widow Dark Legend takes the proven history of the Black Widow line and continues to tweak it. Question:

How bad is/are the blemishes?

4/22/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Thanks for the question! Unfortunately we do not know how bad the blemishes are because we are not at the warehouse. We are not sure what causes each ball to be considered an X-Out by the manufacturer. The reason given to us are that it could be for any of these issues: abnormal weight (half weights), irregular pin placement, irregular top weight, or slight surface blemish.

Question:

Are all of your x-outs considered legal equipment?

5/18/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes, this ball is still a legal ball but you would have to make sure when you drill the ball that it still meets all the legal requirements. The X-out could be an X-out due to irregular specs and it may limit the way you have to drill the ball to keep it legal.

Hi Allthat, your pro shop should definitely be able to tell that the ball has irregular specifications, but the box that the ball comes in should also note the pin distance and top weight.
