Hammer Burgundy Hammer

Hammer is going old school and offering an updated version of the original Burgundy Hammer. The color is the same as the original, the finish is similar and the reaction is a throwback to why this ball was worth bringing back. Hammer used a reactive coverstock they call React-a-Thane. This cover rolls early and the 500 grit Abralon finish makes this ball strong. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.

Answer:

For a strong Full Roller layout place the pin 45 degrees down from the center point of palm and 3 3/8" away from center point of palm. For less flare and later hook follow the same layout instructions but place the pin closer to the palm center point.

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

You will need to place the order with your specifications in the box that says "Click to request pin/top weight" under the weight option. Once our warehouse gets the order, if they have a ball that matches your request, it will ship out. If they do not have a ball that matches, we will contact you before we ship it out. Hope this helps!

Question:

What is meant by being a full roller? I am 74 and new to the game, and find it to be enjoyable.

6/20/2017 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

A full roller is someone that bowls with a ball that rolls over its full circumference. The track of the ball cuts between the thumb and finger holes. Although once very popular, it is now rarely used because it lacks the carrying power of a semi-rolled ball due to the fact that it generally cannot create the increased entry angles that are helpful to carrying your strikes, particularly the off-hits.
