Question:

Is this ball good for dryer lanes and diffferent from the Storm Hy-Road to use for competition?

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is rated for medium to heavy oil so it would not work well in drier conditions. This is an upper mid performance ball so it will have a slightly higher hook potential than the Hy-Road which was a mid performance ball.

Question:

A few tiny pit holes in the cover stock of the ball are normal ? What does it meant?

10/19/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

A reactive coverstock can be porous. This is one of the ways that a reactive cover can create traction in oil and give you hook potential. Most of the time you will not see this but if you look very close there could be very small pit holes and sometimes they are more noticeable but they are usually so small you cannot really see them. So it is normal to have this small holes in the cover because that is by design and it helps the ball grip in oil.
