Hooligan Taunt

Layout:::: 45 X 4 X 30
Box Surface
Rev Rate ::: 325
Ball speed:::: 16 mph
Condition:::::40 ft. House shot

Pros / Controllable , Versatile , Predictible
Con's / Not for heavy oil

I drilled my Hooligan Taunt 45 X 4 X 30 . The Hooligan Taunt fits in between my regular Hooligan and my Vandal. The Taunt had me make a 3 and 2 move compared to my regular Hooligan. I have no trouble geting the ball through the front and once it clears the front it reads earlier by a foot compared to my Hooligan. The Taunt for me is a ball I can use on light to med lanes . The ball has enough on the back part of the lane for me. Compared to my Vandal the Hooligan Taunt lets me straighten my angles to the pocket which for me increases my strike percentage.
This is a great ball for the money and I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a ball that is prdictable and controllable.

Best Uses:
Burn, Light Oil, Medium oil

Great ball to price ratio

For the price, you can't beat the quality of this ball. If you're a league bowler and want a new, relatively inexpensive bowling ball for the start of the fall season, this ball is for you. For tournament bowlers, if you need a ball for medium to lower volume patterns or for the burn, this should be your go-to ball. Even on dryer house patterns, this ball will provide a consistent, predictable reaction.

Hooligan Taunt

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a DV8/Brunswick/Radical Regional Staffer. I am left handed and I am between 15-16mph. I drilled the Hooligan Taunt with the pin just above my fingers and the CG stacked and the surface is out of box. Pin 3-4". I did not use the original Hooligan that much because I could not get the surface correct with the patterns, the ball would read to early or to long, so I did a safe drilling on the Hooligan Taunt and SO far this ball is been perfect with the patterns I bowled on. This ball is smoother in the mid lane and more reaction. The patterns I have used the Hooligan Taunt on has been Cheetah, 2015 USBC Nationals Team pattern, and THS. This ball works really good for me when I am straighter and play up boards. I am really excited about this ball is how predictable it is, and how much power it has in the back. The Hooligan Taunt works well on THS, and Medium/Dry Lane conditions. DV8 has done a great start of the year with the Hooligan Taunt and this is a ball you are going to need in your bag, I promise you will not be disappointed!! Pros:
Length, Dry Lanes, carry, Consistency
Cons:
none
Best Uses:
Medium oil, Dry lanes
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for dry lanes

If you are looking for a ball to attack dry lanes, The Hooligan Taunt is for you. I have mine drilled with the pin drilled 1 inch above and 2 inches over to the right of the ring finger with the CG 3 inches directly below the pin. The ball is extremely clean through the front of the lane and makes a very controlled motion towards the pocket. The Taunt has fantastic hitting power and you will definitely not be disappointed with how it throws pins around. This ball is consistently 5 to 6 boards weaker than a DV8 Vandal that I own. The Hooligan Taunt is extremely good when the heads get a bit spotty. Everybody needs one in their bag.

Bottom Line:

Hooligan Taunt

The Hooligan Taunt is a pearl symmetric that is an amazing ball, especially for this price range. You will see the best reaction on light to medium oil conditions. In my experience, this ball is very controllable and predictable. This ball allows me to be able to stay more square at the line and gives me a chance to stay further to the right with great length and flip toward the pins. Compared to the original Hooligan, the Taunt will start to roll a little sooner and is great for when you see wet/dry conditions.
