Yes, to get this back to the out of the box finish you would start with 500 grit on all sides, then 1000 grit on all sides and finally 3000 grit on all sides to finish it up.

Hello Rey! You can request to have a certain pin distane or pin up/down. When you select the weight of the ball, you will click where is says "Click here to request pin/top weight". There you will enter any specifications.
