Hammer Gauntlet X-OUT

The Hammer Gauntlet bowling ball takes the hybrid version of the proven Semtex CFI coverstock and pairs it with the all new Gauntlet asymmetric core. This ball was designed for heavy oil conditions and was made to be aggressive at the mid-lane as well as the backend. When compared to the Hammer Scandal bowling ball the Gauntlet will change down the lane faster and more aggressively. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.

Question: What is the difference between theHammer Gauntlet and Gauntlet XOut? Are these refurbished or defective?

5/16/2017 - By

Answer: Hello. The only difference is that one of them will not have any irregularities but the X-Out will. All X-Out balls are still USBC approved.

Question: I like the Hammer Gauntlet but my lanes are medium oiled. What do you suggest instead in the Hammer line if possible. I've been bowlin with an older Globa 900 s65 that's in great shape.

5/16/2017 - By

Answer: You can look into the Hammer Rebel or Hammer Rebel Solid or the Hammer Burgundy Hammer. Those are all great balls for medium oiled lane conditions.

Question: I have a pearl red legend and an 30yr old Colombia white dot that I use for spares would this be a good addition to my bag. For heavy lane conditions or should I consider the Scandal ?

10/6/2017 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer: I think you may like the way this ball transitions to your Red Legend Pearl better than the Scandal. This has a hybrid coverstock which gives just a little more length than the Scandal (solid coverstock). The extra length on the Gauntlet will help make switching to the Red Legend Pearl easier since the Legend Pearl is made to break later on the lanes.
