This product is intended only to remove oil and dirt from the cover of the ball. By removing oil it can help the ball hook better but there is nothing specifically designed to make changes to the balls reaction.

A ball spinner would help the cleaner to give it a more even clean but you do not have to have a spinner to use this. Most bowlers will probably do this by hand.

This Hammer Remove All Ball Cleaner would work well and also the Powerhouse Energizer Ball cleaner is a good option. Also, most of the reactive ball cleaners will work across the different brands with no problem.
