Rip'd and Lovin' It
Such a strong ball for a hybrid and THIS BALL maintains energy through the entire shot. This ball is a very strong and aggressive hybrid. Clean through the front and picks up on the midlane so evenly and drives so hard. No Hand no problem - this is your ball. Too much hand no problem - this ball is very versatile and clean to get you downlane and get the motion you need!!!

Get Rip'D and Get Yeti
Yes if you purchase the Rip'D and Rip'D Solid you can get a free Yeti tumbler! A necessity for all those Hammerheads out there! But don't just purchase because of this great offer, your getting two great balls that will fit in anyone's arsenal. For myself the Rip'D gives me the same shape as the Black Widow Gold, clean through the front and midlane, but is stronger off the breakpoint which is why this ball is in High Performance line and the Gold is in the Upper Mid Performance line.

Strongest Ball in my bags!!
The Rip'D and the Rip'D solid had me grinning from ear to ear right out of the box! Both balls cut through the heads, mids, and explodes out the back end. These balls hit so hard, they actually break pins. As a combination these pair of high performance pieces will do wonders for your confidence. You must keep ahead of lane changes because it doesn't take long for them to burn a hole through the lane especially if more than one are shooting your line.

I drilled my Rip'd with a 60 x 4 1/2 x 30, pin up, layout. So far I have only been able to throw this on house shot type conditions and this ball is as good as advertised. It is super clean in the fronts for me and gives an angular motion on the backend! It has been a great complement to the Rip'd solid.

This ball is the perfect compliment to the Rip'd Solid. Very clean through the fronts with a lot of backend and goes through the pins just the way you would hope.

Get the Rip'D!!!
Hey Y'all.... Stefanie Johnson here... This Rip'D has quickly made it's way in to my bag. One of the best predictable balls from he Hammer line in a long time.
I have found success with this ball on lighter to medium volume patterns (not necessarily a short or medium pattern). It allows me to keep my angles in front of me which I prefer to do. I can trust that this ball isn't going to hook too much off to spot but rather have a smooth and continuous motion for me. I am a high speed, lower revs player so if that sounds like you, I recommend this ball!

Hammer's new "one/two" punch
Here are my thoughts on the new Rip'd and Rip'd solid by Hammer. I am doing this as a joint review for both balls as they are being released together as a new "one/two punch" in Hammer's asymmetrical bowling balls. The Rip'd comes in comes factory polished and comes with the Aggression Hybrid CFI cover in black/gold/white swirl. The Rip'd Solid comes with Aggression Solid CFI cover at 2000 Abralon and has a blue/black/orange swirl cover. Both feature the same asymmetrical core and like with all Hammer releases, come with an industry leading 3 year warranty. I have tried the Rip'd Solid at box surface and at an Ebonite "Clean n' Sheen" finish. I have tried both releases on various THS as well as USBC White. I drilled both with the same layout- 60 x 5 ¼ x 40- no balance hole was used.
There is a definite difference in reaction between the 2 new releases. At box, the Rip'd does glide through the front quite easily and especially for an asymmetrical core, gets around the corner quite easily and continues on both THS and White patterns. With 4000 Abralon (just to knock off the factory shine) any slight over/under was erased but in the overall, the same reaction characteristic was present. The new Rip'd reminds me a bit of the original Widow Legend in terms of being able to get around the corner with ease in an asymmetrical core. There is a significant difference in performance with the Rip'd Solid with the different cover. At box surface, I was easily 10-15 boards further left throwing to the same spot. I had to really rotate the ball at the release in order to get the ball down the lane and to recover in the back. At "Clean n' Sheen" finish, I liked the performance better though I was still several boards further left compared to the Rip'd.. The Solid requires higher volumes of oil and/or higher balls speeds. Those with lower rev rates will also benefit from the Solid's Motion. The Rip'd will be a little more versatile in handling more volumes and pattern lengths.

This ball is exceptional on it's own, but even better when paired with the Rip'd Solid. This has to be the best complimentary pair I have ever had. The Rip'd gets through the middle and down lane without any loss of energy and turns the corner strong. When the carry down starts affecting the ball motion, it's easy to switch over to the Solid for a smooth continuous drive through the pins. These really need to be in your bag together.

Solid ball motion from a great SOLID ball
Man I love this ball! 813 and 300 so far with this BEAST! Ball chews through oil and has strong motion at the spot. Drilled this with a dual layout drilling of 45*4*40...Gives me a strong pin up piece in a solid ball. This ball is quite versatile as it lets me create a spot inside of the friction line. My rev rate is 478 and release ball speed of 19 mph. Even with a high ball speed this ball sees the spot and makes agreat move through the pins. Ball takes surface change but there is honestly no need to change it. This is a GREAT buy and you will love the ball reaction.

Clean and mean
Drilled this ball with a dual angle layout of 50*3 3/4*70. Out the box as expected the ball is very clean through the front. I was honestly surprised at the down lane motion through the pin deck. My ball speed is 19 at release with a rev rate of 486. Ball doesnt burn up and is very predictable. I've found that the more i used this ball the better it gets. Used this on a 43 foot pattern and the ball didnt hesitate to make a strong move off the spot. GREAT piece from Hammer Bowling

The Rip'd killer! For me, it is the perfect compliment to my Rip'd Solid. When my Solid is reading too soon, I can go to the Rip'd and it gets through the fronts easier and reads the mid-lane and backend hard!! This ball hooks a lot which allows me to use it on heavier oil, but I can also move left with it as well because of how well it stores energy! This ball is again, very strong, but also very versatile and it just demolishes the pins. This ball has easily become one of my favorites without a doubt! This ball is a must have in your bag!
