Shock your competition with the Hammer Scandal bowling ball. This ball introduces the Scandal core which is covered with the Semtex Solid CFI (Carbon Fiber Infused) coverstock and is finished with a 2000 grit Abralon sanding pad. This core and cover combination produces a ball that has an unbelievably strong hook on medium to heavy oiled lanes. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability.
BALL MAY BE AN IRREGULAR WEIGHT, CONTAIN IRREGULAR PIN OR TOP-WEIGHT, OR MAY HAVE A SLIGHT SURFACE BLEMISH
I bought this ball X-OUT. All the ball had was a slight surface blemish. The pro that drilled it for me said that all the weights were perfect. I practiced two games with it and bowled 270 and 246. This ball is a beast.
Great versatile ball. I used Dual Layout 45 x 5 x 35 with 500 grit Abralon pad on the spinner. The ball rolled smooth up front and plenty of punch on the backend. Great for medium and long patterns depending on the surface and shine. I love the Gas Mask Cores in the Legends and with the Carbon Fiber shell and inner core. You can't go wrong with this ball. Thank you Hammer for creating weapons of mass destruction.
All I can say is WOW! WOW! WOW!
This ball will be going with me to EVERY tour stop this year.... maybe even 2 or 3! :)
I currently have mine drilled with the pin stacked higher above my ring finger - no hole. My game is very simple mind you, 220 rpm, 17.5 mph and I could hardly keep it on the right side of the head pin ::) JUST WHAT I NEED for the heavier patterns that I struggle on due to my low rev rate.
You can clearly see this ball restoring LOTS of energy and then makes a pretty intensive left turn. Many times I felt as if I was going to throw it in the gutter and to my surprise actually hit the head pin.
For a symmetrical ball, this ball hits like a truck and has the tendencies of an asymmetrical ball. It's true #NothingHitsLikeAHammer
When looking for a strong symmetrical piece that you can throw all day long, the Scandal is definitely the ball that comes to mind. Its ability to store energy and maintain its shape as the day progresses and the lanes get dryer is unexpected from a ball with this kind of power behind it. On fresh it works exceptionally well allowing you to play straighter with a smoother backend with it being symmetrical piece, and as the day goes on you are able to get around the ball more and still have it make the turn and not lose carry.
