Hammer Scandal X-OUT

Shock your competition with the Hammer Scandal bowling ball. This ball introduces the Scandal core which is covered with the Semtex Solid CFI (Carbon Fiber Infused) coverstock and is finished with a 2000 grit Abralon sanding pad. This core and cover combination produces a ball that has an unbelievably strong hook on medium to heavy oiled lanes. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability.

I would buy this product again

I bought this ball X-OUT. All the ball had was a slight surface blemish. The pro that drilled it for me said that all the weights were perfect. I practiced two games with it and bowled 270 and 246. This ball is a beast.

The Legend Hybrid speaks!

Great versatile ball. I used Dual Layout 45 x 5 x 35 with 500 grit Abralon pad on the spinner. The ball rolled smooth up front and plenty of punch on the backend. Great for medium and long patterns depending on the surface and shine. I love the Gas Mask Cores in the Legends and with the Carbon Fiber shell and inner core. You can't go wrong with this ball. Thank you Hammer for creating weapons of mass destruction.

Hits like a TRUCK

All I can say is WOW! WOW! WOW!

This ball will be going with me to EVERY tour stop this year.... maybe even 2 or 3! :)

I currently have mine drilled with the pin stacked higher above my ring finger - no hole. My game is very simple mind you, 220 rpm, 17.5 mph and I could hardly keep it on the right side of the head pin ::) JUST WHAT I NEED for the heavier patterns that I struggle on due to my low rev rate.

You can clearly see this ball restoring LOTS of energy and then makes a pretty intensive left turn. Many times I felt as if I was going to throw it in the gutter and to my surprise actually hit the head pin.

For a symmetrical ball, this ball hits like a truck and has the tendencies of an asymmetrical ball. It's true #NothingHitsLikeAHammer

Question: whats the scandal x out ? whats irregular on the 16 lb one ? would like to know, im interested in getting it

4/21/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer: Hi Willie! We are not sure what causes each individual ball to qualify as an X-Out by the manufacturer. The reason we have been given are that it could be for the following reasons: irregular weight, irregular pin placement, irregular top weight, or slight surface blemish. If there are certain weight, pin, or top weight specifications you require then you can make that request by clicking the blue button below the weight selector box. If we don't have a ball that matches your specifications then we will contact you before shipping the ball.

Question: Is there any way you can tell me exactly what is wrong with this ball.. ?

4/22/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer: Hi Lowk, I wish I could. We are not sure what causes each ball to be considered an X-Out by the manufacturer. The reason given to us are that it could be for any of these issues: abnormal weight (half weights), irregular pin placement, irregular top weight, or slight surface blemish.

4/23/2016 - By

Question: Are there any 15lbs x outs left in stock

5/31/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer: There can be times when this product is out of stock in certain weights. If the weight selection box at the top of this item page allows you to select 15lbs, then we should have this in stock. If the 15lb option is not shown in the weight selection box, then we do not have this in stock.

Have an answer to this question?

Answer: We are not able to view the exact weights at each of our warehouses to determine the lowest one in stock currently. If you needed to make a request for a specific weight, you may enter your weight request in the specs box. The specs box is just below the weight selection box in blue and when you click the blue box, it opens up to let you type in your requests. If we have the one you requested, we will ship it. If not, we will call back before shipping to go over what we found closest.

Question: What is tyhe difference between the Scandel anthe Scandel X-OUT

6/24/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Question: Is the weight block the same in 12 lb as 15 lb

7/4/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer: Hello Ted! Hammer puts more generically shaped cores in their lighter balls. So no, the weight block wouldn't be the same.

Question: i throw the ball 19.0 mph plus on the 2nd arrow on right . will the scandal work for me.

10/9/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer: This ball should work for you on heavier oil conditions but as the lane conditions break down you may have to adjust your arrow that you use to still get this to work. Your ball speed is higher so a duller finish ball is a good option so that the ball will be able to grip and react in time. If you tried a ball that was polished to break late, it may not have enough time to hook with your ball speed.
