Question:

Would the core be the same for 12 and 13 lbs?

3/31/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Unfortunately the weight block is different in the 12 and 13 lb balls. It has to be changed in the lighter weight ball to get the ball light enough and also to adjust for the reaction the weight block would have on the overall performance of the ball.

Question:

How would you rate the Scandal vs The Storm Lock? What would be the plus/minus?

4/22/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The weight blocks on the two bowling balls are very similar and product the same RG and RG Differential. The big difference on the two bowling balls will be the cover and the finish of the cover. The Scandal is a solid reactive cover at 2000 grit which will help the ball read more midlane and smoother than the Storm Lock. By reading the lanes earlier the Scandal can end up covering more total boards in hook potential. The Storm Lock has a hybrid reactive cover at a 3000 grit which will make the Storm Lock have more length and have more of a snap reaction with a stronger backend.
